I use my camera to record bits of my world so I can share it with you, maybe show you something you haven't seen before, or something you've seen so many times, you feel like you made the photo yourself. I started out only using black and white film. Loving the forms it would help me capture. Loving how difficult it made images to date. Loving the anonimity. I stepped out of black and white when I first started using pencils to color my images. I wanted to share the colors that seemed most important to me, bring my human hand into the process. This, maybe inevitably, led to color film. I now find myself torn between black and white film, color film, and digital photography. I love different things about each of the medium and will focus on one for a moment before my attention quickly drifts back to the other. Here is an assortment of color film, digital, hand colored and black and white images. Here is a glimpse of my view of the world. I hope you find something of yourself, as well as something new.
